Yes, that is correct! The 2017 PSR Convention “Ontario Manifest”, at the Ontario Radisson Hotel in Ontario is only 4 months away. So, if you have not registered what are you waiting for? The three and one half days between September 13 and September 16 are packed full of Clinics, Tours, and Social Events designed just for model railroaders. The full registration fee of $115 will entitle you to attend all the following events; starting out with the Welcome Reception BBQ dinner at the historic San Bernardino Station on Wednesday night, September 13th, the Hobo Auction on Friday night, the Saturday morning Swap Meet and the Saturday night Awards Banquet. For an extra fare cost, there are prototype tours and Modeling with the Master Clinics.

With 49 Modeling and Railette clinics there is something for everyone. We have 4 MWTM clinics presented by Clark Kooning, participation in the MWTM clinics is limited so sign up early. A special introduction to Model Railroading clinic all day on Saturday just for new modelers presented by Gary Butts, Harry Buehrle, Carl Heimberger, and Pete Steinmetz. If you want to get some hands-on weathering experience we have the clinic for you presented by Dave Arendes, Ron Banco, and Pete Steinmetz. Interested in establishing an Era for your railroad, Bob Chaparro has a clinic for you, Stuart Forsyth will present a clinic on the role San Bernardino and the Cajon Pass played in the World War II war effort. Interested in PE cars? We have a clinic on the Pacific Electric Railway near Ontario and Pomona presented by Norm Sydam, son and nephew of the Sydam Brothers who imported model brass PE Trolley Car. If you are into or want to get into 3D printing we have clinics presented by Dana Zimmerli. And we did not forget the ladies we have 10 Railette clinics including Railroad China, canvas art, key chains and more.

There are also 2 great prototype tours. First, on Thursday to the Orange Empire Railroad Museum - for an extra fee you can drive a locomotive. Friday's tour will be to the Colton Hump Yard and maintenance shops. We are in the process of finalizing the layout tours and Op’s Sessions so check the web site for updates on these.

So, as you can see the 2017 PSR Convention “Ontario Manifest” is packed full of things for you to do and see and you can register and pay for everything on line just go to

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up today, don’t miss this great convention!
